Sports in Piediluco
Piediluco has always been popular among rowing enthusiasts: the light regular winds, the lack of water currents and a long, straight watercourse prompted the Italian Rowing Federation te choose it as the national Rowing Centre named after Paolo d’Aloia and to arrange a watercourse for national and international competitions. The Centre hosts the national Olympic rowing team all year round that train and prepare far races.
Among
the most important rowing events that take place in Piediiuco, we can mention: in
April, the nationai doubles far all categories; in May, the “Memorial
d’Aloia” international race; in September, the Italian Rawing Championship.
Also other water sport enthusiasts, canoeing, sailing and wind-surfing, find themselves at home in Piediluco where there is an equipped sailing club.
Piediluco
is an excellent for lovers of mountain-bike and/or trekking: there are many
tracks on the hills surrounding the lake valley, that are traced through

All around the Piediluco surroundings the MB traks are marked by means
of suitable RED/ BLUE
signals located along the significative points of the itinerary.
